Initiate
The process begins by understanding your own needs and how we can help you. We provide more information on our credibility and a general overview of cloud computing below. If you are ready to get started, fill out your information at the bottom of the page!
Cloud Service Providers (CSP)
We are a registered and certified Microsoft Partner along with being a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider. Meaning, we can get the most for you for the lowest cost through Microsoft and Azure. With that being said, if your company prefers or currently deals in a different CSP, we can migrate to Microsoft to lower costs or continue with your current situation. We cater to all CSPs: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and many more Cloud Service Providers.
Benefits of Cloud Computing
If you are new to the cloud, this question may have crossed your mind; “Why is the Cloud better than my current situation?” In short, there are many benefits of migrating to cloud computing including: cost reduction, provisioning speed, reaching global scale, increasing productivity, computing performance, ultimate reliability, and maximum security.
Cloud Solutions and Cloud Services
There are four main types of Cloud Solutions: Compute, Storage, Database, and Network. These can vary case by case or can be combined into one tenant depending on your needs. With those options in mind, there are also four main types of Cloud Services: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Serverless Computing, and Software as a Service (SaaS). Once we begin this process we can go over which option(s) are best for you and your organization.
Evaluate
We provide a thorough evaluation process depending on what solution your company desires.
Transitioning from Cloud Solution Provider
We require evaluation of your organization’s current computing configuration. This ensures proper understanding of your organization’s situation and if we are a good fit to proceed.
Migrating to Cloud Services
We also approach migration to the cloud with three different solutions: Private Cloud, Public Cloud, and Hybrid Cloud. We can walk your company through the benefits of each and what is right for your organization.
Agreement
When the evaluation is complete and approved, we create a contract outlying all processes, costs, and estimated completion dates in an easy to understand format. We cover each clause of the contract with you as our potential client and discuss any terms that might be in question. Before the agreement, we layout all our processes in the form of a estimated timeline called CaaS RoadMap. Once agreed upon, we immediately begin our process.
Cloud as a Service (CaaS) RoadMap
This will outline every process and its estimated completion time. The CaaS RoadMap helps us stay on track with target dates and keeps you, the client, up-to-date with our processes. The most important aspect of this solution is to make our job and what we are doing for your company, as easy to understand and follow as possible.
Implement
This state will be one of the longest depending on the desires of you, our client. We begin by setting up access and easy to use monitoring tools for members of your team to be able to follow along with the process. We will follow the CaaS RoadMap that we submitted to you with the contract agreement and abide by the DLCSLA, as part of that contract.
Dynamic Legacy Computing Service Level Agreement (DLCSLA)
This is our agreement to you, that we will be on time with our CaaS RoadMap and will fully communicate any changes in our time estimation. The actual timeframe varies for every project and we know that desires may change along the way. We can mold to fit your situation. We assure full transparency and will walk you through, step-by-step, each process along the way.
Automate
Soon after the implementation is complete and the CaaS RoadMap is nearing it’s end, we begin creating various automation appliances where they are deemed necessary for less hands on management. This process includes creating monitoring tools and self-maintaining operations we call CaaS Auto.
Cloud as a Service (CaaS) Auto
This automation solution was created from extensive research to provide quick remediations and responses to any given situation. CaaS Auto functions off of a variety of solutions, which include: up to date cost analysis & budget, evolving artificial intelligence, self-managing infrastructure & security, various automation use cases, and monitor alerts to notify us and you of issues within the tenant or automation.
Document
Throughout our process we will document every infrastructure resource, reason for any addition, how to implement the infrastructure, and it’s areas of management. We call this solution CaaS Doc. This well documented process applies to a variety of scenarios but specifically refers to three situations that you can benefit from.
Cloud as a Service (CaaS) Doc
This solution keeps everything well documented and has an up-to-date wiki. This crucial part of the project gives a reference for every resource for anyone to understand. Scenarios where this is important: client understanding, reference for the DLC team, and CaaS Transition.
Transition
Once the tenant is fully operational, there will still be a need for someone to manage day-to-day operations, not including deployments. You will have two options at this point: sign a contract extension for DLC or CaaS Transition.
Cloud as a Service (CaaS) Transition
Once your cloud tenant is up and running, you will be given the option to begin CaaS Transition or opt out to CaaS Manage. CaaS Transition gives your company the opportunity to take over and manage the tenant rather than using DLC as a third party management solution. This option is built in to your initial contract and will include a 6 month take over process to ensure your corporation is ready to manage your cloud tenant. The other option, is to void the CaaS Transition and extend our contract with CaaS Manage.
Manage
This state is the final step of the entire process. If you do decide to opt out of CaaS Transition and sign a contract extension for Management, your tenant will be moving forward with CaaS Manage.
Cloud as a Service (CaaS) Manage
Once your cloud tenant is past the Implement, Automate, and Document stages, there will be an overwhelming amount of services to manage. CaaS Manage is a contract to contract solution that continues our service and expertise into the management of your organization’s new tenant. This keeps you as the client worry free and confident that your services will be regularly monitored, continuously maintained, and fully secure. It gives you peace of mind that you have experts working behind the scenes to ensure full functionality and no downtime.
